Spanish Immersion Summer Courses for Kids in Valencia
I believe that the best way for kids to learn Spanish is to let them immerse naturally — trust the process and enjoy the bumpy ride. But if you feel they need an extra push, there’s no better time for it than summer.
The three programs below cover a wide age range, from early years through to late teens, and all run as day programs so children come home each evening. Each takes a different approach, from placing young children directly into local Spanish camps to intensive courses for older students.
Olé Summer Camps
Ages: 3–12 Format: Day camp
Location: Valencia city
Olé is run by cousins Paco and Paloma, both primary school teachers, and works with two Valencia day camps — Aragón (ages 6–12) and Fantasía (ages 3–10) — placing international children directly alongside local Spanish kids. For beginners, their Welcome to Valencia track offers a bilingual, lower-pressure introduction before full immersion.
2026 dates: June 22 – July 24 (weekly sessions). More information: olesummercamps.com
Mas Camarena Centro de Idiomas
Ages: School-age and up Format: Full-day (9am–4pm) or morning only (9am–1pm)
Location: Bétera, 20 minutes from Valencia city
Mas Camarena is consistently ranked the best school in the Valencian Community and currently sits fourth in Spain. Their summer Spanish immersion program is designed specifically for international students, run in small groups by age and level, with the goal of getting children classroom-ready by September. Afternoons include workshops, drama, art and treasure hunts, plus daily pool time and a fortnightly water sports outing.

AIP Language Institute
Ages: 7–12 (children’s program); 14–18 (teen program) Format: Morning classes (9am–1pm). Location: Calle del Batxiller 7, university district
Founded in 1998 and Instituto Cervantes-accredited since 2004, AIP runs small groups of up to eight students at all levels. The teen program adds residential options and weekly intercambio meetings with local Spanish students — a practical way to take language practice beyond the classroom.
2026 dates: June 22 – July 31 (under 12); until August 28 for ages 12 and over
