What is Pont de Valencia?
Pont de Valencia is Valencia’s English-language community magazine for international residents — the people who’ve moved here, put down roots, and are figuring out what life really looks like when the holiday is over.
There’s no shortage of Valencia content online. But most of it is written for visitors passing through, not for the people who stay. We write for the long-term resident who loves this city but still finds themselves lost in a bureaucratic letter, unsure what the street noise is about, or hunting for an ingredient they can’t find at Mercadona.
Local knowledge, international perspective
Original features and curated local news, an events calendar, a directory of foreign-language-friendly services, and a community map — all designed to help you navigate Valencia life with a little more confidence.
Our writers and contributors are themselves part of Valencia’s international community, people who navigate daily life here with genuine curiosity and hard-won local knowledge. We cover local news, city culture, food, family life, and the kind of practical stories that help you feel less like a foreigner and more like a neighbour, on your own terms.
Run by volunteers, driven by community
Pont de Valencia is run entirely by volunteers who are passionate about building a resource that genuinely serves Valencia’s international community. We’re independent and community-funded. If you’ve found us useful, you can support us on Buy Me a Coffee. We’re also open to partnerships with businesses and organisations that share our values and want to reach Valencia’s international residents. Get in touch.
