Danny Brody is a former New York and Miami-based food, drinks and arts journalist known for his muscular writing style and for creating the influential, early food blog Daily Cocaine in 2004. He contributed to the Miami Herald, Miami SunPost, Design District Magazine and Modern Luxury Magazine, covering the local culinary scene. He also was the proprietor of Stop Miami, a wine and tapas bar in Wynwood, called the World’s Best Wine Bar by Time Out Magazine in 2005. In 2026 he created The Art of Hunger on Substack. He lives in Valencia, Spain.
