Les Arts premieres the opera Dialogues des Carmélites, recounting the story of three nuns guillotined during the French Revolution. More details.

Music:
Popular Valencian indie-rock band La Habitación Roja performs at Les Arts

Barcelona-based punk band Arpaviejas plays at 16 Toneladas.

Move Trio (saxophone, double bass, and piano) performs avant-garde reinterpretations of jazz and classical standards at Fundación Bancaja.

Saturday, 25 January

Festivals and Holidays:
Celebrate the Lunar New Year with lions, dragons, and festivities organized by Valencia’s Chinese community. The main parade starts from Calle Pelayo, with activities throughout the day at Plaza del Ayuntamiento. More details.

Dance:
La Rambleta premieres L’Espai Oscilant, a new work featuring professional dancers and amateurs of all abilities. Free entry with a downloaded invitation. Get yours here.

Theatre:

Renowned flamenco dancer Eva Yerbabuena performs Oscuro Brillante at Teatre Principal.
