What’s On This Weekend: San Vicente Mártir
Buen Finde! Today is the Festival of San Vicente Mártir, Valencia’s patron saint. Expect some shops and markets to be closed in the city, and prepare for road closures around the historic center due to religious processions.

The popular Balls al Carrer dance series continues this Sunday at Plaza Fueros by Torres Serranos.

Music
For jazz, Iranian multi-instrumentalist Nika Afkari performs at Burning House on Thursday. On Tuesday, Jimmy Glass hosts an afrojazz ensemble led by Doudou Nganga.
For electronic music, Jardí Electronic returns Saturday at Parc Central with three DJ sets (€8, 4–10 pm). Spain’s electro-funk pioneers Telephunken play at 16 Toneladas.
International acts include Belgian punk band Maria Iskariot on Thursday at 16 Toneladas and LA/Texas rock veterans Supersuckers at Loco Club the same day.
Free classical music options: MUVIM hosts Broken Music, a lute-and-voice Renaissance concert on Sunday. Salvador Sebastià conducts Vents de Llevant, a free symphony performance at Palau de la Música. Tickets available at the Palau box office on Friday, 23 January from 10 am.

CCCC, Carmen Cultural Center has opened three new exhibitions alongside its special display on Valencia’s urban transformation.
Fundación Bancaja features contemporary works by Fernando Molero until 18 February.

Pro cyclists arrive for the La Clàssica Comunitat Valenciana 1969 – Gran Premi València this weekend. Racers are expected to finish along Av. de Francia around 5 pm Sunday. Expect road closures.
Football: Levante UD vs Elche CF Friday and Valencia CF vs RCD Espanyol Saturday.
Esports al Barri at Parc Central Saturday, 11 am–2 pm. Families can try tennis, Valencian pilota, and more.
