By popular demand! After a lively chat about vegetarian spots, here’s a roundup of our community’s favorite veggie-friendly places — tested and approved by members! If you discover a new one, let us know and we’ll add it to the list.

Best Veggie Brunches

Let It Bloom – Ruzafa
100% plant-based brunches with great tostadas, recommended by Aline and Jeremy.

Mestizo – El Carmen
Pet-friendly café with vegetarian and vegan breakfast options. I’m a fan of the black-bean catracha.

Best Veggie Burgers

Khambu – El Carmen
A big variety of vegan burgers in a cheerful diner setting, as recommended by Aline.

Almalibre Açaí House – El Carmen
Fresh smoothies, vegan bowls, wraps, and burgers.

Saona – Various locations
Not a vegetarian restaurant, but I can testify that their menu del día includes a solid vegan burger.

Best Vegan Sushi

Unsushi – El Carmen
Sushi place with a creative, vegan-friendly menu using tofu and seitan to create a variety of rolls. I like their futomaki rolls.

Best Veggie Menú del Día

Lo de Ponxe En El Kinto Pino – El Carmen
Creative macrobiotic vegan cuisine. Recommended by Jeremy.

La Mandrágora – El Carmen
One of Valencia’s original veggie hubs — an asociación where members pay what they want for a set vegetarian menu.

Kukla – El Carmen
Middle Eastern café with hummus, salads, and stuffed pitas. Popular with multiple Pont de Valencia members — and my go-to for a sabich fix!

Oslo – El Carmen
Upscale menú del día in a cozy café setting. A Jeremy favorite.

Copenhagen – Ruzafa
A pioneer of vegetarian dining in Valencia, with hard-to-find jackfruit tacos.

Café Madrigal – Ruzafa
Limited but delicious daily menu. Several members recommend it — I can vouch for the vegan tortilla!

La Casa Viva – Ruzafa
Homey vegetarian spot specializing in pastas, recommended by Agnieszka.

Honest Greens – Ayuntamiento
Marcel loves this pick-and-mix style veggie chain where you can create your own fav combo of “plant-forward” food. Currently super trendy, so it may be hard to get a table.

Maduixes – Mestalla
Weekly and tasting vegetarian menus. Aline calls it “soooo sooo good”!

Mestiza – Cabanyal
Plant-based Mediterranean food in an arty beachside space. Recommended by Jeremy.

Posh Veggies

El Poblet – Ayuntamiento
Upscale restaurant with a seasonal vegetarian menu featuring Valencian produce. Recommended by Sangeeta.

Las Lunas Soul Kitchen – Ruzafa
Not strictly vegetarian, but there’s always a standout vegan option on the menu.

La Salita – Ruzafa
The menu is not vegetarian, but Michelin-starred chef Begoña Rodrigo built her reputation on exquisite vegetable dishes.

Try Happy Cow — highly recommended as a brilliant app for finding vegetarian and vegan options nearby.
