Operation Spider dismantled a cartel network using the Port of Valencia to traffic cocaine. Police seized 45 tons of the drug and arrested more than 80 suspects across Spain. Earlier in the week, eight Guardia Civil agents were detained for collaborating with traffickers.

Meanwhile, hackers breached Valencia’s irrigation control system, even affecting the Royal Household’s agricultural estate. Authorities are still assessing the damage.
