Signs of recovery are already appearing. Power and water have been restored in many flooded neighborhoods. Local trains are back in service. More streets are gradually reopening as cleanup continues.
This disaster has hit Valencia hard, but it has also deepened my appreciation for this incredible city and its people. The resilience, compassion, and unity I witnessed make me proud to call Valencia home.
